Houthis killed by Yemen's Army artillery shelling in al-Jawf‏

The National Army artillery on Saturday bombed positions of the Iranian-backed  Houthi militia, in the District of Khub and Shaaf, Jawf province.

According to field sources, the shelling targeted the militia positions stationed in the valley of "Sibla", killing and injuring  a number of militias' elements.

Meanwhil, the army thwarted an attempt for Houthis to infiltrate towards the strategic mountain of Qash'an and Salam Tepe in the same district, and forced them to flee.

The fronts of the province have been witnessing days of violent clashes between the national army forces and the Iranian-backed Houthi militia.

Legitimate forces and the militia share control of the province, Yemen's fourth largest province by area.
