Saudi Cabinet calls Yemeni parties to hold a meeting in the Kingdom‏

The Saudi Council of Ministers on Tuesday reiterated the kingdom’s call to the Yemeni government and all parties involved in the conflict in Aden to hold a meeting in the Kingdom to iron out differences and reach reconciliation.

“This call reflects the Kingdom’s keenness on prevailing wisdom and dialogue among the Yemeni parties, as well as their renouncing division, halting strife and closing ranks to confront the Iran-backed terrorist Houthi militia and other terrorist organizations so as to retrieve their state and return Yemen into a stable and secure country,” the Cabinet, chaired by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman, said in a statement.

The Cabinet stressed on the joint statement issued by the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the United Arab Emirates, citing the keenness and efforts of the two countries to preserve the state of Yemen and the interests of the Yemeni people, as well as its security, stability, independence, unity and territorial integrity under the leadership of the legitimate Yemeni president, Minister of Commerce and Investment and Acting Minister of Media Majed Al-Qasabi was quoted by Saudi Press Agency as saying .
